This is Tanzania at its wildest and most remote.
The Chimpanzee Frontier Expedition takes you far from the classic safari routes into the untouched western frontier of the country. Along the crystal-clear waters of Lake Tanganyika, dense forests hide one of our closest relatives — wild chimpanzees.
You will follow in the footsteps of Jane Goodall in Gombe Stream, trek deep into the forests of Mahale Mountains, and travel by boat across one of the oldest and deepest lakes in the world.
This journey is raw, intimate, and deeply moving. It is not just a safari. It is an experience of connection — with nature, wildlife, and silence.
