Day By Day Details

Day 1 - Arusha to Central Serengeti

Your safari begins at 8:00 AM with a hotel pickup in Arusha, followed by a scenic 6-hour drive (240 km) to Serengeti National Park. Known as the “endless plains,” the Serengeti spans 14,763 square kilometers of breathtaking savannah. Home to the Big Five and abundant wildlife, the park offers exceptional game viewing. Enjoy a picnic lunch en route and an afternoon game drive in the wildlife-rich Seronera area before dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Spend a full day exploring the wildlife-rich plains of Central Serengeti. Choose between an early morning game drive at 6:00 AM or a relaxed breakfast followed by a full-day safari with picnic lunch. The Seronera region, nourished by the Seronera River, attracts diverse wildlife year-round, especially lions and leopards. Vast savannahs, kopjes, and abundant plains game create unforgettable viewing opportunities. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Another exciting day awaits in the heart of the Serengeti. Enjoy flexible game drive options, either early morning or full-day exploration. This ecosystem supports one of Africa’s largest concentrations of wildlife, offering opportunities to spot elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, and numerous antelope species. The open plains and rocky kopjes provide ideal habitats for predators. With picnic lunch served in the bush, the day concludes with dinner and overnight accommodation at your lodge.

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before departing for the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, surrounded by dramatic highlands. Descend toward the crater rim area for dinner and overnight. The region shelters approximately 30,000 animals, promising extraordinary wildlife experiences in a stunning natural setting.

Begin early with breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater for a 5-hour game drive. The 260-square-kilometer crater floor hosts dense wildlife populations including elephants, black rhinos, lions, buffalo, hippos, and hyenas. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the Hippo Pool before ascending the crater walls. In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha (approximately 4 hours), arriving around 6:00 PM, marking the end of your memorable Tanzanian safari adventure.
